What is important is that you try to Clam Chowder. Donovan’s is known for this New England staple. Donovan’s is foremost a bar, and the vibe inside is all about the long antique bar that runs along one side of the room. This is the place to be merry late into the night. By day, weather permitting, you can people watch from the outdoor seating. Donovan’s anchors the south side of the Washington Street at the corner of Water Street.
