Dorothy Heroy Park is located in  North Stamford, and north of the Merritt Parkway. If you are in to hiking in a fairly wooded area, this park is for you. But since this is a municipal park, it offers other things to do. Little League baseball happens, and there are basketball and tennis courts and a pool. This vibe is family recreation, so picnic tables, playgrounds with swings are available. Orient yourself at the corner of High Ridge Road and Riding Stable Trail.
