For almost 20 years, the Shippan Turkey Trot has raised money for Pacific House, formally known as the Stamford Shelter for the Homeless with 100% of the money raised going directly to Pacific House.
The race is 2.4 miles long and has a long-standing tradition of trotters running in Halloween and Thanksgiving-themed costumes. Registration is free, but donations are encouraged.
