Springdale’s first gourmet coffee shop features coffee from Counter Culture Coffee and offers a wide variety of organic, loose leaf teas. This cute little shop, located on Hope Street across from Twin Rinks can be easily missed. This place receives their baked goods from Gingerbitz bakery in New Canaan and if that isn’t good enough, Beanz also has ice cream! Be sure to stop by with the kids, they’ll love the ice cream and you’ll love the coffee.

Cafe Oo La La has three convenient locations all close to or in Stamford downtown! Offering classic and modern European breakfasts & lunches, these conveniently located cafes are extremely popular. With top notch food made from scratch, everything on the menu is delightful and features many products from local New England sources. The cafe has a calming atmosphere and plenty of grab & go food options which make this place the perfect stop if you’re on the go or want to grab a quick bite to eat. With made to order salads and specialty drinks, there’s no wonder why this coffee shop made the list and is one of the most popular in Stamford!

If you’re looking for a place to grab quick, delicious food and some great coffee, Friends Cafe is the place for you. This spot opened in November 2018, making it the newest to open on our list. Featuring traditional breakfast options, create your own salads, tartas, and homemade empanadas (they’re amazing by the way) you will leave this coffee shop happy & full. Their mission is to provide the best tasting dishes and high quality coffee in a relaxing, family focused environment. This place is truly great, and definitely worth stopping for.

Humbled

Humbled Coffeehouse is one of the most popular coffee shops in Stamford. Opening back in October of 2017, their coffee is locally roasted in Stamford at BonJo Coffee Roasters. They have a large assortment of drinks and a wide variety of flavored coffee. As for food, Humbled has many baked goods options that are delivered fresh daily and bagels made locally at Liz Sue. From scones, to muffins, to crumb cakes, the options are endless. Humbled also offers a variety of seating from couches to catch up with friends or tables that are perfect for getting work done. The vibe of this place is cool & trendy, so if you haven’t already you need to give Humbled a try. P.S. Punch cards are available and your 11th coffee is free!

Lorca Coffee Bar

Churros and Coffee, what more could you ask for? Centrally located on Bedford Street, this coffee bar is a hit in the Stamford Downtown. Lorca recently opened a smaller location in Cos Cob, which has also been extremely popular. Owner and architect Leyla Jenkins, opened her shop in 2012 with the goal of delivering great taste and experience to the heart of Stamford. Featuring coffee from Counter Culture Coffee and plenty of specialty drinks, this place will have an option for anyone. Lorca delivers a quaint and colorful experience to all guests and is an awesome stop for breakfast or lunch. Seriously, don’t forget to try the homemade churros, you will not be disappointed.

Another new coffee shop, Turning Point Coffee Roasters opened back in August 2018. Located in Bulls Head, this shop offers tasty coffee that is all roasted in-house. Not only does this place have exceptional coffee, but they also have exotic tea options and nitro cold brew on tap. The cozy and friendly atmosphere makes this place extremely welcoming, perfect for catching up with friends. With a generous amount of seating and a variety of food options, customers are able to grab their coffee, a light meal, and enjoy in a comforting atmosphere.
